“Drive To Survive” - New event planned

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008
February 6, 2008
February 7, 2008
February 8, 2008

Katie has sent in details of an event she is organising called “Drive to Survive”. She is asking all concerned parents to join in another protest with her next week.

  • Day 1 Drop your child(ren) off at school then drive to the school they would be going to if Option 1 is selected by the council. Park. Walk to the school and then return to your car. Then repeat this when you collect your child(ren) from school.
  • Day 2 Do the same as above, but with the school you would use if option2 was chosen.
  • Day 3 Do the same as above, but with the school you would use if option 3 was chosen.

This will demonstrate that the Islands roads are just not capable of coping with such large amounts of traffic and will also illustrate to people who think that the changes in schools proposed will not affect them.
